The Hippogryph is the only known relative of the Griffin. While the Griffin features the head, talons, and wings of an eagle on the body of a lion, the Hippogryph combines the sharp eyes, dangerous talons, and powerful wings of an eagle with the strong legs and endurance of a horse - The Hippogryph is truly another king of all mythical beasts. Noble, proud and strong.

Always such a delight to see a turtle swimming in the sea. They have adapted to life in the water and except for the time they lay eggs, turtles spend their entire life in tropical and subtropical waters where they hunt for cephalopods, crabs and jellyfish. The turtle is one of the longest lived of all animals. They can live well past 100 years! -

Most mountain gorillas live in stable family groups of around 10 individuals, with one dominant male and several females. Both males and females in the group care for their infants; hugging, carrying and playing with them. When they get older, most males and around 60% of females then leave their birth group to join another troop. This helps prevent inbreeding. What is this Silverback doing - protecting his family, looking for food or looking to join another group?
