This figure captures the most frightening character that ancient imaginations could create, Chimera (also known as “she-goat”) was a monstrous fire-breathing female creature composed of the parts of three animals: a lion, a serpent and a goat. In Greek Mythology the Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus.
